Reuben Abati, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) has denied sending any press release relating to the President disclosing the location of the abducted schoolgirls as well as exposing the Boko Haram masterminds. Abati who claimed his e-mail was hacked said that such statement did not stem from his office.

Below is the statement;

 “All media organisations and persons on my mailing list should kindly disregard the press release purportedly issued by me earlier today titled: PRESIDENT JONATHAN REVEALS LOCATION OF CHIBOK GIRLS AND EXPOSES BOKO HARAM MASTERMINDS.
No such press release was written or circulated by me. It is clearly the work of fraudsters who have hacked into my email account in an odious attempt to mislead the public at the expense of the credibility of the Jonathan Administration.
We totally condemn this criminal resort to political dirty tricks which seeks to cynically play on national concern and emotions about the Boko Haram insurgency and fate of the abducted Chibok girls.
Aspects of the fraudulent press release, such as its incoherence and invitation to click on a link, would have alerted discerning persons who are conversant with the style and format of my press statements to the possibility of skulduggery.
I find it necessary, however to issue this disclaimer for the benefit of the unwary".

Words on Tweeter street suggests that Omojuwa may have been involved in the execrable act but the question remains, why?

Omojuwa's infamy grew for loathing the Federal Government so much that news of mishaps in government parastatals fuels his creativity to generate punchlines that further evinces his postulation for their inefficacy.

This remains cryptic as further pockets of information suggests that the revulsion knows no bounds as every government official is a potential target for his denigration.
This also explains his rabid support for the #BringBackOur Girls campaign which must not be taken at face value for the protest against terror, but rather, a protest against the Federal Government for their inefficiency (from their purview).

They have a fervent belief that the government is doing nothing about anything but for the constant allocation of resources to cohorts.

The Government on their part also have the burden of proof on their side as silence and paucity of information to the general public is the major reason behind the conjectures and political extrapolations.

Omojuwa has been for many years an aberrant tool in the hands of the opposition and has been good on the money, promoting propaganda, galvanizing gullible unsuspecting youths, and general enkindling towards the master plan of eroding the trust of the people in government as synonymous to Boko Haram's ideology.

According to Dr. Rueben Abati's statement it can be inferred that his suspicion is also towards the antics of the opposition

"It is clearly the work of fraudsters who have hacked into my email account in an odious attempt to mislead the public at the expense of the credibility of the Jonathan Administration"- Dr. Reuben Abati.

Giving this perspective however, it is too nebulous to conclude that Omojuwa may be culpable or not, of the grand hack of the special adviser to the president of whom he has criticized and denigrated times without count.

We await the authority's findings on the investigation.
